When it came to refurbishing over 160,000 square feet of specialist warehousing space at their Tickhill, Doncaster, site, DHL Supply Chain relied on the professional industrial cleaning and hygiene experience of Trustclean to tackle the task for them.

The world's leading logistic and supply chain solution provider neede to refurbish key storage parts where medical equipment was stocked, to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, consistent with the needs and handling of such sensitive materials.

Trustclean, who have spent almost 60 years looking after food manufacturers cleaning and hygiene care, and whose expertise stretches to hospital ward cleans, schools, food production areas and food ingredient manufacturers, needed to clean, sanitise, repaint and prepare all areas from high level roof trusses down to ground level including walls and pallet racking.

The work combined the refurbishing of existing work areas with the preparation of new space to accommodate the ever-growing demands of this dynamic organisation. as such, it was important to be able to blend into DHL Supply Chain's hectic 24 hour work schedules - a logistics challenge within a logistics company!

Work was carefully planned and rolled out over a 2 month period, integrating totally with DHL Supply Chain's operational requirements. There were no hold-ups to interrupt the Company's supply flows, and the whole project was completed within schedule, on budget and to the high quality standards demanded.
